I'm Coming Back!

Hey y'all... I'm coming back, I promise! Heart and home have overflowed with company the past few weeks, so time to tickle the keyboard eludes me.

Belle Fleur graciously asked me to share on her lovely blog. If you have time, please dabble over to Shirley's blog...

And in the meantime, I'd love to pray for moments of grace for you. Please leave your requests below. It'd be my honor to deliver them to the pierced hands of love on your behalf.

xoxo, Sam

Sam, please pray that I will give up whatever control I think I have and give God complete control. Thanks!

Sam, please pray for my son and I . . . both of us have final exams coming up within the next few weeks - his are more important than mine!

Dear Lisa,

My heart leans toward thoughts of Sabbath rest when I read your heart's desire to give control fully. For you, I pray:

Lord, thank you for your divinely ordained rest for your kids. Please lead Lisa oh so gently near your fresh streams and peaceful pastures. Open her eyes to see you have planned good things for her and you got this... you invite her to join you in the journey, but not to lead it. That's your place to lead. Help her give that control to you and yoke herself under your guidance. Give her sabbath rest from working to make things happen. thank you Jesus for interceding on her behalf and for hearing our prayer. In your name, amen.

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. Psalm 62

Sweet peace to you friend!
Sam

Dear Lorna,

What are you and your son studying? I'm excited for you and pray out of Psalm 25 for you both:

Lord, thank you for fearfully and wonderfully making Lorna and her son. Thank you for the opportunities they have to study and grow in knowledge. Please expand the hours they have to complete their tasks and to study. Open their minds to retain needed knowledge. We ask that you will show them your ways, O LORD, teach Lorna and her son your paths; guide both of them in your truth and teach them, for you are God his and her Savior, and their hope is in you all day long.
Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. In Jesus Name, Amen.

let me know how your exams go!! I'll keep praying!

xoxo, sam
