Failure is not an Option

What do you dream of doing? What would you do if you knew you could not fail? Let's talk!

Love this. My devotion time with the kids this morning was about how our success, confidence and strength all come from Jesus. Amen! Doing a word study search on "success" on an on-line Bible is really interesting!

You, my sister-friend, are a success in Him! Love you!

I don't feel like my life has been a success. If it were, I'd either be singing in the Gaither Homecoming shows (that's the big one), or more simply, I'd be a missionary helping orphaned children, or a farmer donating the extra to food pantries; I could go on and on. Lots of things I'd love to do.

Dear Anonymous Friend,

It's not too late! At 82, Winston Churchill wrote a History of English Speaking People. At 100, Grandma Moses was painting. At 81, Goethe finished Faust. At 81, Benjamin Franklin effected the compromise that led to the adoption of the U.S. Constitution.

Not sure of your path or circumstances or age, but I hope you will look around you and see potential. It sounds like you've been given the gift of dreaming big! Perhaps you could adjust those dreams to fit your landscape...by joining your church choir. Volunteering at a child's retention or adoption home; or maybe a crisis pregnancy center. Lending a helping hand at your local food bank or organizing a food drive or warm winter coat drive.

God is not finished with you yet!! Seek Him for direction and have a blast with how He leads. You can do it!!
